Knowing of our Heart 1

The heart wall is composed of three layers: a Superficial epicardium, a middle myocardium, and a deep endocardium. All three layers are richly supplied with blood vessels.

Epicardium was explained as before and now is myocardium "muscle heart" , composed mainly of cardiac muscle, forms the bulk of the heart it is the layer that actually contracts. The connective tissue fibers form a dense network, called the fibrous skeleton of the heart, that reinforces the myocardium internally and anchors the cardiac muscle fibers.

The endocardium (" inside the heart") is a glistening white sheet of endothelium tissue layer. resting on a thin connective tissue. Located on the inner myocardial surface, its lines the heart chambers and covers the connective tissue skeleton of the valves.
